Today the cleaning guy/houseboy was sure to show me where the space heaters are, you know, since now we're only getting to the high 70's during the day & mid 50's at night. Then he put on his parka and left.
The funny thing is that you'll probably be wanting those next "winter." I just can't get warm when it drops below 70.
We went to a birthday party at the zoo this morning. I think it was 57 outside (admittedly not in the 70s) but they way we bundled our kids you would have thought we were in the arctic. I think H had 3 shirts on under his vest.
Yeah, I can't bring myself to actually say the word "houseboy." But the other common term is servant, which doesn't feel quite right either. So usually it's "cleaning guy."

Make sure to break out the long sleeve t-shirts so you can handle the cold season.
something about the term "houseboy" makes me laugh... same way "poolboy" makes me chuckle. either way, hunker down for that cold weather!!
