Wait, that happened here the other day, too! Did you send your dust to us? It really freaked my kids out! The sky was just a dark brown. It wasn't windy or anything. It was just BROWN.
And TX Girl. Really. I could have gone all day without that fecal matter comment. Sigh. I did make my kids come inside and watch from the windows, because there were some weird updrafts and I wasn't sure we weren't going to have a tornado, but still . . .
Then it snowed - brown snow. YUP.
Where do you live, TX Girl? We're moving to Texas in a couple of months.
Ask Kathryn, Texas isn't big enough for the both of us!!!
Ruth- Imagine MY horror when I asked my cousin (he worked in Pakistan at the time)if it would be safe for me to travel to India (alone) to visit a friend. She was living there for about 6 months and I really, really wanted to go. His comments included- "I wouldn't worry about the political issues, but rather the health issues." He then proceeded to give me a list of all the things I should be worried about- which included the air and what was in it.
I laughed in the face of danger and went for a whirlwind trip. I will admit I spent two days on the way home in Paris and took AT LEAST a 1 hour shower the moment I arrived.

Aren't they just trying to cloud (pun intended) the issue- isn't it all really just pollution. Oh and there is that .05% fecal matter.
